STREET ART: NO RESPECT

The other day the NY Times had an article all about 'the splasher' - some weirdo who's been going out splashing paint over 'street art' and posting some stupid attempted smartguy flyers with his or her 'work'. The article concludes with a quote from one David Brockman (brother of Ken Brockman?) stating - “That was a revered and respected piece of art,” he said. “This is just vandalism.” - in other words, the street art was art, and the splashers' defacement of it 'vandalism'. Well, we have two problems here. The first being that anyone would actually be stupid enough to call street art anything other than what it is: VANDALISM. These "artists' are guilty of the exact same crime COST was busted for way back in the day. Why are these stupid yuppie whitebread non-NYC-natives getting special treatment and not being arounded up and arrested like they should be? They are vandals. Plain and simple. They're nothing but a pathetic shadow of what graffiti and good vandalism is all about. They should be spanked publically for making a mess around this town with their paper crap. If you're going to deface something, use fucking paint. The second problem is that this splasher dork got any press at all. Who cares? The splasher is nothing but a cheap rip off of MR. CHAWCLET, who's been regularly defacing street art with chocolate labels for months now. In any case, it's about god damned time that these street art fags learned the meaning of the word BEEF, cuz just like my cock in your mom's mouth, it IS whats for breakfast.
